I made a mistake on Common App Early ActioN!

I applied early action, and didn't realize on the "Current Year Courses" that you had to retype the second semester courses. I suppose I was being stupidly reckless (even though I double checked several times!), but now I'm freaking out. It says "Full Year/First Semester" where I typed in all my First Semester Classes, but for the "Second Semester" i only typed in the class that was DIFFERENT - I didn't put in the classes that are the same.

What should I do?

It’s not a big deal- just email the colleges and let them know the mistake. Tons of people make minor errors like this, so just talk to the colleges and try not to worry about it :)

I’m sure you are not the only one to do this. It is probably a common omission.

We did the same and I do not consider it to be a mistake. D has 6 yearlong classes which are obvious core classes and TOK / PE sharing the last slot as semester classes. We listed that last for clarity and used both columns only for the non yearlong classes. Our schedules from school list classes this way - not repeating the yearlong classes, and school will report in their section anyway. Why clutter the page with extraneous info? I’m sure they don’t think you are dropping out our don’t plan to continue on in Lit after fall semester. I would imagine about 50% of apps list classes each way and I would not email - unless you have a schedule where many classes are only 1 semester, so there might be some confusion. If you are like D with only 1 or maybe 2 semester classes I would leave it.

I did this also, I didn’t realize it was a mistake. Should I change it for RD?
