I met a Penn professor

In the "professor with whom you'd like to study" essay..

Since I met him personally, should I include his warmness, connection with students, and the depth of our interaction?

orrr. Should I stick to his way of teaching and his breadth of wisdom and his passion?

OR BOTH?

I don't want to want to appear to be boasting the fact that I met him. Any advice would be much appreciated.

They really only want you to do research on the school, but hey, feel free to take it overboard if you want.

Jeez, don't overthink stuff. The point of this essay is to see whether you have some academic interests and have a clue how to write about them, as well as some ability to research a simple question, and, most importantly, to get you psyched about Penn by finding professors there whose work interests you. You are trying to show that you have said interests, clue, and ability, and that you are enthusiastic about Penn. Do that any way you like.

is it me or did the essay prompts change this year?
cause last year it was a 30 word-limit response...

hm does it even give a word limit this year? i didnt see one
