Try one of Drexel’s or Temple’s programs if you want a good shot. Your grades will probably set you back unless you can explain some of it with the adversity in your essays.

nearly all of them should have been sent already. you could quickly apply to brown’s if you want to (it’s due january 1). the only ones i know of due after january are kentucky and ohio state. kentucky’s 7-yr bs/md is due feb 1. ohio state program is due march 1, but i think you had to have applied to ohio state earlier, because you have to be accepted by march 1 into the undergrad in the honors program.

Ohio State’s program requires their applicants to be National Merit Finalists (Semifinalists at the time of application). Brown’s requires a few essays and it’d take some work to have that ready in a few days, and even then it’s a long shot. The OP really dug herself a hole here if she wants to go to a BS/MD program since almost all of these programs have early deadlines.

schrizto, i think (not entirely sure, but remember seeing something related to this) that ohio state changed their program so now the Ohio State Medical Admissions Pathway (B_/MD) doesn’t require that you be a semi-finalist.

actually, yeah, just found the site for eligibility and there aren’t any requirements for national merit. i know that they had them in the past, but i guess you don’t have to be national merit to apply this year.

Wow, it does look like they changed the requirements. It used to be called EAP too instead of MAP. Sucks because then I would have applied last year.

Rice/Baylor and Rochester’s REMS are past deadline.

Did you apply for Northwestern’s HPME Request Card before December 1st?

Also you can still apply for Brown’s PLME as well as Washington University’s University Scholars Program in Medicine.

I think Case Western also had a program. Howevever I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high with such a last minute application. The medical essays in combination with the schools essay would be a difficult to get done by the deadlines.

I wouldn’t try applying at this time though.

case’s was due december 1 im almost positive. no point applying to wash u, cause its not really a program - 3.8 and 36 on the mcat to stay in (and 8 years, so you have a better shot through the traditional route; and they only accept 5 out of several hundreds)

schrizto, they actually changed it from EAP to MAP starting this year. i remember when i first started looking at ohio state’s program in july it was EAP but after october it became MAP and they said that they wanted to pick from a larger applicant pool, so they took out the national merit requirement.

and schrizto, are you at Pitt’s med program? cause if so, nice :)

Well OSU should be prepared to watch apps explodeeee for that program in the coming years when more people find out about it. Maintain a 3.5 and no MCAT or if below 3.5 get a minimum 32 MCAT for a medical school ranked in the top 30 research rankings. Dang!!!

I don’t know how good OSU is with merit scholarships but if it is, frankly that makes it a better deal than Pitt requirements-wise (3.75 gpa) or Brown and NU cost-wise.

yeah, and their med school and program are only getting better. i dont know if they were that amazing in the past, but based on their match results for the med school, it got a hell of a lot better for the 2009 residency match. it was really good before that, but got even better this year, so ohio state is really going up. and for anyone who wants an accelerated program, you can petition there for the third year option and make it a 7 year program. (but i dont know how successful people are in petitioning for the 3rd year option)

I hate to break it to you, but I think it’s a bit too late to apply to most programs. Most of the deadlines were in November or early December. As for Washington University in St. Louis…a 3.8 GPA and 36 MCAT is insane.
