I need advice choosing a school for a online Degree in Business

I am 23 yrs old and in the US Navy. I would like to pursue a business degree and earn around 100k. I have about 30-45 credits from military experience. If anyone could help me in choosing an online only degree and college, I would greatly appreciate it.

presently business fields have a great opportunities…and online degrees are better to reduce some expenses like the expense of books, ink, traveling charges, and other stationery expenses etc…but i think we didn’t get the feel of a best classrooms and our friends…

before choosing any courses or online degree try to make a better research…and make sure that will suitable for you…

Nobody’s going to pay you 100k starting with an online business degree (or a traditional business degree, for that matter).

That being said, Penn State has a great online business program and the degree is the same as one from Penn State’s traditional school, so it is reputable.

Expect an average starting salary to be somewhere in the ballpark of 40k, plus or minus a few thousand depending on what kind of experience you have from the military and how well you do in school.

Your income expectations may be a little off but when it comes to looking for a business college online, I recommend the following:

[Online</a> Degree, Online Course and Online Certificate Programs from the SUNY Learning Network and the State University of New York](<a href=“http://www.sln.suny.edu/]Online”>http://www.sln.suny.edu/)

[Welcome</a> to Florida International University - FIU Online](<a href=“http://www.online.fiu.edu/]Welcome”>http://www.online.fiu.edu/)

I would also add University of Wyoming’s online BBA to the options you have. The advantages of the program include UWYO’s AACSB accreditation as well as it’s lower costs as compared to many other programs. The only caveat though is that you have to complete a number of business prerequisite courses before fully embarking on the program.

These days most top ranked business schools (excluding the Ivy’s) have online business degrees. Find what type of business degree you want to pursue then re-ask your question. Some good schools to consider, Northeastern University (my alma mater), Penn State, Drexel, Arizona State, and many others. Stay away from your "“for profit” schools like UOP, Capella, Walden, Ashford, and Kaplan. You can look forward to a 100k+ salary after your degree +10 years of experience with a masters degree depending on what area of business you go into. Best of luck…

Also, by the way, I have a friend with an online business degree from DeVry who makes over 100K because of her service in the Army.

Thank you for your service, I hope you find what you need.

Just make sure that you go to a school with AACSB accreditation.

I would go for a program that doesn’t state anything about it being completed online, on, like, the degree, or whatever.

Since you are in the Navy, you should search for a college that is military friendly. Regular online classes are flexible, but if they don’t aren’t affiliated with the military, they could have problems catering to your unpredictable schedule. Dealing with a college that has experience working with military members is important.

Check out this list: [Top</a> 10 Online Military Friendly Colleges](<a href=“http://www.militaryeducation.org/top-10-online-military-friendly-colleges/]Top”>http://www.militaryeducation.org/top-10-online-military-friendly-colleges/)

I’ll agree with that list and suggest Columbia College to you. They have a great reputation with the military and actually have campuses on 18 military bases around the country. You can take online classes through any of them, but if you live on one of the bases that Columbia College has a campus on, you can take classes there quite easily as well.

You can also get tuition assistance through the GI Bill tuition program. Their professors have a lot of experience working with military members and can cater to their needs quite well. Also, they allow quite a bit of transfer credits, so it seems like that would be a good fit for you in that area as well.
