<p>You're right, you don't want something mundane or simple...write something that they don't expect (but not negatively), something that they'll remember you for. You don't have to use a million SAT words (although proper grammar is a must) to get it done well. It does depend on the character of the schooll, but for the most part, originality is key. :]</p>
<p>you want something that will make you stand out from the other "highfalutin" essays. while still sounding educated and everything. I think a lot of it's getting the right mix.</p>
