So I was talking to my high school counselor. I am in 10th grade and am looking to apply to WashU for pre-med. My counselor presented me with the idea of going to the early college program. It’s basically where you substitute junior and senior year with college level classes. Instaed of going to my high school, I would be going to Saint Louis University for classes. She said that if I do the program, I would earn both my associate degree and high school diploma, as well as the added benefit of shaving off 2 years worth of undergrad studies. What do you guys think? Should I take this opportunity up? I can transfer to WashU after the 2 years is done, but I ultimately want to attend an ivy league school for my actual medical studies. I am also an avid student in academics.
