AP tests are in a week and I'm confident I'll pass all of them except AP Lit. If there is anyone out there who has some good advice on the multiple choice (I'm not worried about the essays) it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

dude..im confident i will fail everything....AP lit...read fast..answer questions...know 3 books and 1 shakespeare fairly well, that you can write an essay about them...you'll be fine.

Thanks for the advice Sheed30. I don't want to sound arrogant but I can write extrememly well though usually no more than two pages in 40 minutes. Do you think writing so little will lower my score?

nope, 1.25 pages to 2.5 pages is usually good. Just know 3 books of literary merit and 1 Shakespeare and you'll be good.

yeah, srsly. I pretty much did AP lit on my own in 2-3 days (school doesn't offer course) and 5'd it. just know the terminology and think SAT passages.

taggart: wow that's impressive considering that i've heart the Lit test is among the hardest.

Awesome advice guys. Thanks!

How much did you write per essay Taggart?

The Lit test may be relatively difficult, but you can't study for it as you can for biology or physics.

eeeric: Naw, it's not that impressive. It probably comes from the fact that I am a huge fan of classics (read around 40 or 50 of those books in 7th grade), so I've gone through a good 3/4 of the reading list; just my luck, I guess. I pretty much thought it was the biggest pile of BS I'd ever written. I mean, literary analysis basically means what impression the piece gave you, supported with facts.

@Sleepwalker: I think I wrote something like 2 1/2 to 3 pages per essay, but I could be utterly wrong. This was last year.

Taggart: Damn. I don't think I've ever written more than two pages in less than 40 minutes in my life. Did you get through the entire multiple choice? I can get through everything but the last passage where I answer about a third of the questions without reading the passage.

aristotle1990: That's what I've noticed. I managed to raise my MC score quite a bit after taking two practice tests. Taking Practice Tests seems to be the only thing that works on every AP Test.

I got through the multiple choice. Heh, but I also read stupidly quickly (100 pages/hour?). I think that comes from lots of practice by reading a lot.

Though on the SAT, I never read the whole passage.

Oh! And my handwriting is crap.

Damn. I can probably read a pathetic 30 pages an hour at the most.
