I am currently a junior in high school and I am so unsure on what to take next year. I think I want to major in something artistic but I don't know what specifically. I'm pretty good at math, but once I reached Pre-Calc and Calculus, I started to struggle a bit. I'm taking AP Calc AB right now and have been between a 79 and an 82 all year. So anyways, next year I was set on taking AP Lit, AP Gov/Econ, and Portfolio II (for draw/pajnt). I knew I wanted four classes overall and then get early release but I wasn't sure what to take as my fourth class. I talked to my art teacher and she suggest AP Studio Draw which is right after the Portfolio class, so it's basically two hours straight of art. I wasn't all the interested in math or science so I didn't think to take anything like that. I talked to my guidance counselor today and he looked like my course selection sheet and asked me if I was going to take a math class. I got nervous and basically told him that I wasn't sure which to pick between AP Calc BC or AP Stats, and then told him I'd probably go with Stats. He circled AP Stats along with the other classes I was planning on taking (including AP Studio). So now I guess I have 5 classes for next year but I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle it. I have an un-weighted GPA right now of 3.5. The classes I'm taking now are AP Lang, APUSH, AP Calc AB, Physics Honors, Draw 2, Draw 3( I'm really on Draw 3 level but I take Draw 2 for extra time in art), and Ceramics.

I really like art and want to do something with it in college but I don't whether I should take both Portifolio and AP Studio Draw or just take Portfolio if I'm also taking AP Gov/Econ, AP Lit, and AP Stats. Or should I keep both art classes and drop the AP Stats? Does it look bad not taking a math Senior Year? I want next year to be easier. I'm strugglingg to keep the B's I have in my AP's this year. (Calc-82, Lit-84, APUSH-85) I mean do you think I could handle the four AP's and Portfolio next year? I'm afraid for my GPA. With the people I'm surrounded by, a 3.5 is considered kind of low, everyone else has a perfect 4.0 un-weighted. Plus, if I get lower than a 3.5, I'll be kicked out of NHS. I just don't know what to do. Please help!
