I need help picking out a present

Hi :) I'd like some help picking out a little gift for my friend. She's turning 16, she loves Free People, UO, etc. I already bought her this sequined tunic from FP which she pointed out to me (on sale for $20). That won't be much of a surprise, so I wanted to get her another little something, but I'm not sure what. Shipping brought the total to $30 so I'm looking for something that costs about $7. (She told me that I have a limit of $36 since that's how much she spent on me)
She doesn't wear makeup or jewelry, so it's tough! Any ideas?

hmm all I can think of is maybe go to that $1 section at target and buy one of those buckets for a buck and fill it with random $1 stuff you can find or go buy some candies and fill it with candies

Me and my friends are always obsessive about each others birthday presents.

We usually buy something nice (~100) bucks which comes around to 33 dollars per person. Then we go to Target and buy random stuff like fuzzy pink blankets, jewelry, nail polish, or candy (watermelon sour patches).

Just go on a mini-stuff shopping raid and grab anything that looks cute. I think it’s enough to just put a big bag of her favorite candy along with a cute stuffed animal in her FP bag.

^why did you leave out those undergarments?

Thanks for the ideas  She loves nail polish so I’ll get her a nice one. Ilikeyou: sorry, but what are you talking about?

Get something from Sephora! Not makeup, but they have some cute hair accessories too. Since she likes Free People, I’m assuming she likes the boho-chic look (I do!) and there is a Braidie thing at Sephora that’s really cute - she may like that. If you don’t think that’s good, get her a small book or something. Maybe a Moleskine journal? Those are roughly $6-10 for the smaller ones and are very nice.

Thanks for all your ideas! I gave her People mag & chocolate since her tunic didn’t arrive yet… It arrived this weekend. She texted me and told her that her other friend got it for her…I was ****ed! I wasted $8 on shipping. Blaaahhh
