hi everyone!
so im applying to USC right now and the major I put on my app is sociology.
however, im also really interested in attending the davis school of gerontology, as a gerontology major.
can someone tell me a little bit about both those majors and how they're related in any way? I need to make up my mind already. xD

guys! I really would like some feedback…

Do some research online or call the departments and have a chat with them.

Here are some links to get started:
[Home > Department of Sociology > USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences](http://dornsife.usc.edu/soci/)
[USC Davis School of Gerontology](http://gero.usc.edu/)

Definitely do some research and check out the major requirements. In addition, you may want to see about posting on one of the many USC Facebook groups that looks like it gets daily action. Someone there may have one of these majors and could give you more feedback.

If you do end up at USC, the summer orientation will really help with information on your specific major and programs. You will meet with your major advisor and learn more about the requirements and program (and meet other students with the same major). If you decide you want to change your major, you may be able start the process then as well (they asked at orientation check-in about this!).
