I need sage advice from you veterans!

I haven't exactly dove into the "insane SAT practice" concept. I am feeling nostalgic of my past failures, if you will. I just want to know one thing, honestly.

With practice, can one achieve a 2400? Is it possible? Please don't give me bs.

with a heck of a lot of work i think it is possible. And luck plays a huge factor into getting a perfect score too.
nothing is impossible. it just depends how hard you work and how badly you want it

I don't know, although I would certainly imagine it to be. I have friends who've scored 2350+ without any practice, so if they can do that in lou of prep, most anyone can surpass them with prep. probably.

Prep and luck. luck for getting passages and questions you "click" with, prep so you know how to do them.

I agree with the post above. You need some luck to get 2400, but there is no big difference between 2350+ and 2400. For prep, I recommend Prince Review 11 Exams, Barron's Writing practice, the Official Collegeboard Book (aka "Blue Book"), and read a major newspaper (NYT,WSJ, WP, etc.) daily.

I also recommend reading classic literature and old books, but that's an option to use if you are still in 9th/10th grade or have plenty of time.

Yeah you better kinda prep and do some books then get a lot of sleep the night before and go in there and concentrate like CRAZY.
