I NEED SERIOUS HELP!!! UC help & MUSICAL THEATER help

<p>ok, SO. obviously, i wanna go to a good college. my dream schools are UCLA and UCSD. totally not sure if thats gonna happen. I'm from the bay area, CA, and yeah. anyway.</p>

<p>UC (weighted, minus PE n stuff) GPA: 3.7</p>

<p>SAT 1: 2070 (680 Critical Reading, 690 Math, 700 Writing)</p>

<p>SAT 2:
LIT=730
MATH 2=580 (eew i know)
SPANISH=710</p>

<p>so yeah. im class president, former class treasurer, official school rep for Academic Council, and yea. I have like NO idea if anyone will actually take me. </p>

<p>I'm gonna retake both SAT's, but UGH im worried.</p>

<p>my school doesn't have many AP classes, but im taking every one of them, except AP chem cuz that would be sucidal and stupid. they include AP US Hist, AP Lit, Ap English, AP Gov/Econ, and AP Calculus. I'm also gonna take the AP Spanish test next year cuz i think i can pass it.</p>

<p>I also was thinking of auditioning to a few schools for the musical theater major. i dont have alot of experience...so yeah. ive been in only one big school musical, and that was a pretty small part 2 years ago, plus some small church productions. i start voice lessons tomorrow, and i was lead in this year's school play (not a big deal though, trust me) but i dont know.</p>

<p>u seriously think i can get in to SD????? I was also looking at Irvine, they're the only other college with musical theate r(well, they have drama with hnors in musical theater). o, btw, i live in pacifica.</p>

<p>I'm sure you haven't noticed but there is a whole forum here devoted to Musical Theater within the College Majors forum. You might want to ask over there, but do please review the threads first. I warn you, it's a popular place, for example, the "Colleges for Musical Theater" thread is now up to Part 40, but at least you'll be in good company. </p>

<p>There is not much in Calif. for musical theater. UCLA has a theater program but not great for musical theater. Irvine's program is decent. Really not much else here. Do you want to stay in California?</p>
