which Uc?

Figure i may as well see what people think. what is there to lose?

SAT I: 2070
SAT II:Lit 730
Math 2C 580 (ouch)
Spanish 710

GPA (weighted): 3.65 (double ouch)

AP (so far): US Hist 3
Lit 5

I'm in pretty much every AP class my school has to offer, which isn't saying much, considering we have like 6 or something, lol.

I'm senior class president, former class treasurer, interested in Musical Theater, Music in Voice, Spanish, and maybe something writing-related, cuz that's pretty much my strong point, even though it's not really what i wanna do.

UCLA/UCB: big reach
UCSD: lesser reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB: match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: safe match

thanks doode. anyone else care to comment? don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings =D

assuming you live in CA, UCLA and UCB are probably the reaches. mainly due to your grades.

UCLA/UCB:big reach
UCSD:Reach/Slight reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB:Match
Others are safeties

I think UCSC/UCR/UCM are safeties, but I also think you should apply to a couple cal states as absolute safeties. San Diego State would be a good one.

pineapple_sushi:

UCLA/UCB: Super Reach
UCSD: Reach
UCD/UCSB/UCI: Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safe Match

ok, so my sister goes to UCSD, and i really like the school..will that help? on the othe rhand, UCI has this big huge great musical theate rprogram...ARGH!!! i dunno. i'll just apply to them both. im thinking of applying to UCSD, UCI, UCLA, and maybe one other as a safety, like Davis or something. if i don't get into one of the first three i might do the two-year transfer thing....=</p>

Sorry - the UCs don't practice legacy, even for siblings.
