I am a rising senior from Wisconsin and need some reassurance and/or advice for the college admission process.

I have been researching some colleges and also visiting campuses and have compiled a list of the colleges that I am interested in. Johns Hopkins, Washington U. in St. Louis, Purdue, Emory, Georgia Tech, Wisconsin(obviously), and Milwaukee School of Engineering (more of a safety school) to name a few. I am interested in Engineering as a major (unsure of what branch if engineering).

To get a better idea of what I am capable of, here are my credentials.

I go to a small school with roughly 45 people in my class.
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Weighted: 4.3
ACT: 30 (not the best), trying to get at least a 32 and I think I can get it.
SAT: Will be taking it in September
Class rank: My school doesn't do class rank but I think I am #2.
AP classes: My school doesn't offer many AP courses and only allows juniors and seniors take them. Last year, I took AP Lang and AP Bio. Next year, I will take AP Calc AB, AP Lit, and AP Micro and MacroEcon. (there is only one other AP class offered that I am not taking.

Extracurricular activities:
State qualifier in both Cross Country and Track and have been thinking of continuing those sports in college (however it would probably be at a small DIII college).
President of NHS
Vice president of Student Council
Secretary of Key club
Student ambassadors (recruitment club for my school to encourage kids to come to our school since we are private)
Mentor for 5th and 6th grade students the last two years
Anti-bullying club
Did basketball for two years as well
I also went on two mission trips through my Parish
Participated with Boys State program
Served on the city council as teen representative

I know my test scores aren't the best but I hope to improve them before I apply to colleges. If anyone could tell me my chances of getting into the colleges I mentioned or suggest other colleges I should look at, that would be great.
(Sorry the post is so long.)
