Hi, i am going to be a senior at my high school in the upcoming fall and aam looking at colleges to see which ones i would like to attend. I am interested in going to college for engineering but i do not know which ones i would like to apply to. I have a 3.94 unweighted and 4.078 weighted GPA. My SAT isn't that great, a 1880, and i need to bring that up. But I have competed in varsity cross country and track and field for three straight years and have been part of my school's gifted and talented art program for the past two years. I do a lot of community service and am a member of my school's chapter of habitat for humanity, the national art honors society, and the national honors society. I am looking for a really good engineering school that also has good atheletics but, having just started my college search, i am really kind of overwhelmed. I would appreciate any suggestions or input or anything about where i should apply. The only preference i have to location is that it is located somewhere in the north eastern part of the USA, withing traveling distance (like not having to fly, but being able to drive) of the new york/ new jersey area. For example, Lehigh University or Villanova or Bucknell, which i would also appreciate input about to see if they have good engineering programs becuase i am not really sure about the college rankings. Aside from that, my only other preference is just that it is a good school that i would be able to get a good degree from and compete in good varsity athletics. Any input would be a major help and i would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
