@CitizenSen No worries! Agreed, its a huge decision.
And that’s okay! My teacher told me that there is no wrong decision, which makes sense. Wherever you go, as long as you work hard, you will do well. Shoot we have less than 45 minutes!!
Nope, I wish I was. You do get a lot of financial assistance if you are a 21st Century Scholar.
Thank you to everyone again for the input! I’m officially attending the University of Notre Dame!!
That’s a great decision. Hope it won’t cause you to get too much debt after med school
Thank you @CitizenSen!! (: I hope so too! Let me know where you decide!!
The vast majority of kids who declare pre-med do not actually become MDs or DOs. That said, let’s attack this as of you’ll be one who makes it.
For med school you need:
So get a high GPA and save money while at IU. If you change your mind, there are plenty of other great majors you’ll also be saving money on.
Edit: If your parents are paying and the loan you take out will be the same amount regardless of school, the Notre Dame is back in the game. But it’s still a bigger burden on your parents.
Go with your gut.
Thank you @kingslayer7!! (:
Good choice! You never know what can happen in 4 years and you might decide to do something other than med school. ND gives you great options either way
