I need help making my final college decision. I have to chose between the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). I have visited both campuses and to be honest, I liked Georgia Tech's campus a lot more. The thing is that because of certain scholarships I recieved, it is about 4000 dollars cheaper a year for me to go to Rose-Hulman. Rose-Hulman also seems to have a better average starting salary at $69000, while for ME at Georgia Tech it is $59000 (couldnt find average online). I didn't really love the "vibe" at Rose-Hulman because it felt... well smaller and more isolated (kind of like I was in the middle of nowhere). I also wonder if Georgia Tech has more of a name (I don't know if that matters) because when I tell my friends and family about my options they know Georgia Tech and say, "What's that?" when I say Rose-Hulman. Am I crazy for not really leaning towards Rose-Hulman or what do you think? Thanks for your advice and help. (p.s. of course I have been accepted to both of these institutions)

My s’s friend went to R-H for undergrad and Tech for grad. He said many of the R-H grads took government jobs. You might get a wider industry at the Tech job fairs. Personally, I vote for Tech.
