I need your help!!!

i am very confused by the common application that i have many questions to ask. sorry if i asked the same questions as although i had searched the cc website, i still could not get the answers i wanted.
Thank you in advance.

1) i have invited my counsellor and three teachers for the school form. However, all of them are not adept at using internet. What will happen if they send in paper recommendation letters without responding to the common application e-mail and thus do not press the link that they want to do all these by papers?
2) Let's say they do press the link (hopefully) to do on paper, then are their responses applied to all the colleges (that use common app) that i apply to?? I mean let's say i apply to Cornell, Brown and UPenn, for Cornell i applied ED and i invited threee teachers, all of them responded by pressing the do-on-paper link, then when i apply to Brown online, do i need to invite them again, or since they have responded to Cornell for the paper thingy (via COMMON app of course), does Brown get the message also, and thus i need not invite them anymore??
3) And what common application ID? Is it the 7-digit number at the bottom of each page of our online-generated form?? And do colleges need it??

Sorry if all these are confusing. Thank you very much for helping me answer those 'confusing' questions.

they don't have to respond via email... delete their names and readd them, however, this time don't put their emails in. Then they will become offline providers. Even if they are online providers... I doubt the college cares so long as they receive the recommendations.

I must admit this question is a tad bit confusing. I think this would be alleviated if you just add them as offline providers rather than online. Then the hypothetical common app for Brown would show them as offline as well and you could send them via paper.

I don't think the number bears any significance but I'm not 100% sure

My counselor received my CommonApp invite REALLY late.

My teacher did not even receive one, but she was going to do it on paper anyway.

Does anyone know why my invites don't go through?
