Hello guys! I'm a high school senior who is struggling so badly because of college stuffs.

I kind of want to study pharmacy in college, but i'm still not 100% sure whether this is what i really want to study and have as a job in the future.

I found out that there are three? pharmacy programs: 0+6 programs, Early assurance, and 2+4 programs.

First, if i apply to 0+6; I don't have to worry about PCAT and getting in to PharmD (professional) major. However, if i don't like studying pharmacy, then i have to transfer (transferring from 0+6 to just regular college is not easy at all...as far i know...).

Second, if i apply to early assurance, i have to take PCAT and maintain good GPA to be guaranteed to go to PhamD for the last 4 years.

I actually do not know actual differences between 2+4 and early assurance. Can somebody also help me on this??

Third, if i apply to 2+4 programs, i will have time to experience and learn many other fields other than pharmacy-related majors and can easily transfer to other fields if i don't like studying pharmacy. And even though i like studying pharmacy, i can reapply as PharmD after two years. However, it's super competitive to apply to PharmD unlike 0+6 programs, where I don't have to worry about this at all.

Thank you so much for reading my thread! I've been super stressful of thinking about this. I've sought out for help but they are saying "oh it's your life. you have to decide carefully and find out what you really want to be in your heart" It didn't help me that much. I just want to hear what other people experienced and what they think, Thank you so much! i hope many of you guys can reply to my thread :)
