I screwed up my sophomore year, what are my chances of getting into a good university?

i just recieved two of my finals grades, and i am at a C+ in both chem H and geomtery/alg2 ACC.
for math, i would have to drop the course, but having to Cs would look bad on my transcript,
i also have pretty borderline grades in my other classes(B+ in AP euro and English 10 H)

my high school GPA from freshman yr is 3.7… i also toke bio h and eng h that yr.

this is only the first semester, but i know that colleges look at both sophomore and junior year the most, so presuming i get an average ish score on the act, what are my chances of getting into UC, CSUs, or any colleges in general (apart from community).

UC’s and CSU’s will only use 10-11th grades in their GPA calculation but they will look at all grades 9-11th. Until you have test scores and complete your Junior year it is impossible to determine your chances. Keep working hard.
