it's completely random, i don't think they "prioritize"

yeah i agree, i know someone with a 2300 and 3.9 who didnt get it yet but another with 2030 and a 3.5 who has...there is no order, its all random

=(

I'm really worried. Earlier on (january) I recieved the email saying that NYU had gotten my application. Then when I paid, I never got my confirmation saying I had paid. I called NYU admissions office but got the answering machine which said that the office was extremely busy and that if I was calling about apps or payment confirmations, they would have more information about that end of feb/beginning of march. I waited for march and still didn't get the confirmation. I did get a postcard in the mail in february asking me to fill out my fafsa though.

As of today (march 23) I still haven't haven't recieved my decision in the mail. Should I call the office, or wait until April 1st?

I haven't gotten anything either. I did however get that email with the director (or chair) of the psych. dept. asking me if I had any questions, etc.

But prolly thats cos I am an international student.

I still haven't gotten anything, yet I somehow have my own nyu.edu e-mail address. MADNESS!

exoticpapaya, become a member on NYU's forum and ask an admissions member that way...Just provide you NYU ID # and ask if your application is complete and they will tell you that way, that's what I did

sunshine

i'll try that right now. thanks for the help! =)
