<p>I applied EA to Tulane through the free application. As you all know, everyone was supposed to hear from them by today about their application status. My online status at the moment is still:</p>

<p>I tried calling the number provided three times today, but I was directed to an answering machine, where I was told to leave my name and phone number so that the adcoms could contact me. I still have not been contacted by phone, by e-mail, or by snail mail about my application status (and potential financial aid). Is anyone else still having this problem? Or does anyone know how I can find out whether or not I've been accepted?</p>
<p>As you can see in a couple of other threads, there are a lot of people having this problem. Keep at it with e-mails and calls. You will be contacted.</p>
<p>I am in the same situation right now. I emailed them and received no response so I tried calling twice today. The second time I called them I was put through and I spoke to a guy about why my status was like that and he said that it was because they are really backed up right now. If you do not hear back today, it is very likely that you will hear back tomorrow, or by the latest, friday.</p>
<p>You may have accidentally marked “Regular Decision” on it.</p>
<p>I did, because I didn’t think it made a difference. I emailed my admissions counselor last night, and she responded today saying it was because I marked RD. She said they finished all the EA’s and now they’re doing the RD’s. She moved mine to the top of the pile, and said I should have a decision by the end of the week!</p>
<p>Call your regional counselor. I had applied EA as well and my status was the same as yours yesterday. Turns out my app had been put in the RD pile by accident (damn interns) and they reviewed it today and my counselor told me over the phone that I got in.</p>
