I still need to take Spanish 3 in high school?

I am a senior in high school and I am applying to colleges this fall. I have only taken 2 years of language and only completed up to Spanish 2. I know colleges like to see a student who has taken a wide array of course, so I am considering taking Spanish 3 next semester at a community college. However because I will be taking the course second semester, will colleges even take into consideration that I will be taking that course?
Also, although I know that a third year of Spanish important, I also want to take calc 3. If I was planning on taking calc 3, I would take it at a community college. I would say I could take both, but with my extracurricular activities, I think I would only be able to manage 1 class. Should I still take Spanish 3, or take calc 3 and have a terribly minimal amount of foreign language?

If you list taking Spanish 3 as a planned course on your application, it will be considered in your admission’s decision. Your level of Math is excellent so I think Spanish 3 should be your priority. You have already shown competency in your Math skills.

@Gumbymom Oh, I got. Thanks!
I will be applying probably as a computer science though, so should I still take Spanish 3?

Yes, you should take Spanish 3. The top schools want 3-4 years of a Foreign language.
