How will the writing section be viewed for this year's high school junior class? And for those of you who scored high on the grammar section (multiple choice) of the writing sections, what errors do you specifically look for in each sentence? How did you practice for the multiple choice section of the writing section?
Thanks in advance

I think the most common type of error is subject verb agreement. There are atleast 3-4 of them on the writing portion. A lot of them sound correct but are not, for example something like, "Everyone has finished their homework" should be "everyone has finished his homework"

^actually, that's subject-pronoun agreement...and it really should be 'his or her' since no context is given.

What I personally do,
As I read the sentence, I underline the subject and circle the verb. I also whisper the sentence in my head. It sounds stupid, but it works! I've gone from 680s on practice test to 780 on the real thing. Good luck!

get the kaplan new writing workbook, theres a section for like common errors or something?
i just read the chapter on that (ignored all the other stuff- read it if u wanna improve your essay)
its just like 2 hours,
biggest thing they test on is definiteeeely subject verb or subject pronoun agreement

remember to ignore anything that starts with a preposition

so:
the lady from the group of high school graduates says (as opposed to say)

saying it outloud mentally can be very decieving! ;)
just pay attention and it should all be a-okaY!

I totally suck at grammer too! but i actually think the writing MCs are the easiest to overcome in SAT, bcuz in most of the prepbooks they tell you the 7 or so grammer rules and just memorize them and do a couple examples. ^^
