I'm just starting to write my college essays. 36 hours left, baby!

You must have amazing SATs and a great GPA.

Sometimes I wonder if it would have caused less agony if I’d done the same. Best of luck!

Lulz. I sort of did that EA. It was so bad. My friend needed me for an emergency on Nov 1st and it was the worst thing ever.

Thanks, leafblade.

I feel pretty stressed, not gonna lie. I do, however, feel confident my essays will be solid (partly because I’ll have my friend for an ‘‘emergency’’ on January first). haha.

Yes kitey, you did. You pwned my procrastination skills. Kudos.

QP - You’re following me from the Amherst thread to the HSL thread?!?!??!!? and I feel happy to say that I did pwn your procrastination skillz. I’m honored to say I did.

Pray that your procrastination leads to a spark of genius haha

^Sparks of genius are most common under stress :D

EXACTLY, leafblade! I’m totally diggin’ your logic. I ALWAYS do better under stress… I kid you guys not!

No I’m pretty sure I beat you. I wrote my essay in 6 hours. Submitted it at 11:56 on November 15.

^ Holy mackerel
But if that was just 1 essay, and kite has about 3-4 to write…she might still be in the running.

Lol, kiterunner do you have to write SIX essays?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/811076-optimistic-thread-2.html this thread is full of win.

Actually, I have to write 7…

(unless I find a way to recycle some)

I always do better under stress, but best when I write under stress and then have time to go back and tweak a few things here and there–switch some paragraphs, edit a few sentences.

I have no idea how I’ll fare in the whole ordeal next year. I think I’ll just apply to as many places EA as possible to split up my workload.

I think I’ll have time to edit stuff. I doubt it’ll be super hard. I’m going to stay up all night, though (and not go out tonight… tear tear).

It’s really not that bad. By six hours, I meant six hours in front of the computer. I already had an idea of what I had to write. I would like write a ****ty paragraph in like 5 minutes, then go on FB or AIM. Go back for another 5 minutes, I think it was like 4 or 5 paragraphs going back and forth. Printed it out and proof read it. Waited like an hour and proofread again and BAM, submitted it. :)

And seriously who DOESN’T recycle essays?

:) Smileyyy you are basically making my day!

smileyy and kiterunner18: inspiration for all us procrastinators out there! :)
