I Think I'm Starting To Like Rap.

This is da ****.

I'm a alternative and classic rock and reggae type guy. ;)

But I think I'm starting to add rap to my genre collection. :)

That's my boy PHARRELL WILLIAMS. I've always liked rap, and discovered Pharrell in 7th grade...and dang, he is a genius. That song is really old. Try some of his other songs (he's a big producer for many popular artists).

I prefer music. although rap is key for school dances.

I get my music free on limewire. ;)

I ordered it yesterday (I got a gift card LAST YEAR for my birthday from my friend, and used it yesterday, because that's how long I've been waiting for the CD). I usually download my music, but I'm going to BUY this thing...I've been waiting for it for too long. and it's been postponed way too many times.

Like the song "Mamacita", he says "I've been long overdue for something overdone".

So it better be good.

dare i ask what the asteriks stand for?

Alternative.

ooh pharrel's cd came out?

** goes to download...**

yup, i was randomly at target, and i'd about given up waiting for it, when I SAW IT on the shelf, like omg.

i ordered it right away.

mamacita is an awesome song.

I hate it when people say "da" instead of "the". Argh. I mean can't you people gangsta and use proper English! lol

Four words: A Tribe Called Quest

If your gonna listen to rap you have to know your old school first

god save you

omg, i got the pharrell cd...and it's good. VERY good.

Rap is garbage.

I second that :)

Rap/Hip Hop is the biggest genre of music right now. It's funny that 70% of rap records are bought by white people. Rap is not garbage. The music is pure genious with deep, deep meanings. I don't know what rap you are listening to or what you consider rap. Hip Hop is running the music industry - many of the record labels that have all other genre's artists - rock, R&B, pop - are owned/managed by hip hop entrepeneurs. If hip hop was garbage, it wouldn't be dominating the music scene in america.

Eminem, Backstabber

[quote]
There's a joker on the loose from the psychiatric ward
His face is up on the bulletin board with a reward
He'll stab you with a sword don't be fooled by his charm
He's probably armed with intent to do bodily harm
Ring the alarm, look for a man with green hair
Check at your girl's house, he was last seen there
He's has a mean stare but usually crack's jokes
Good luck on your mission and guard your backs folks
