I began community college in 2009 during the Great Recession as a first-generation student. I knew nothing about college and got a 1610 on my SAT without studying since I did not know how to and was broke. I worked my way through college and went to school for a total of 7 days a week for two years. I learned a ton in the process, but it was painful, mistake-ridden, aimless at times, and took more time that it should have. I spent countless hours scouring these forums; at the time, it was the only source of transfer information around.

For a limited time, I will do my best to answer your question for those looking to transfer. If I didn’t have so many work projects, I would help more of you on here, but I live a busy life.

Hey! Stats?

Hi I had a 4.0, 1 withdrawal, various food service jobs, and was in one student club. However, I knew of people who had as low as a 3.3 or 3.5 who got in (was years ago but pretty sure 3.3). The essay is critical. Stats matter but they alone won’t get you in.
