I went to 4-year university and transferred to CCC.
Since I had taken Calculus l and ll at the university I did not take Calculus l and ll at CCC.
I took Multivariable Calculus in 2017 Fall and Linear Algebra in 2018 Winter.
I am currently taking Differential Equations.
So I don’t have any credits of Calculus l and ll from CCC that are required for transfer.
But I don’t want to report my grades at the 4-year university.
My question is…
If I take Calculus l and ll next semesters before transfer, can I apply to UC with only CCC grades?
You have to send transcripts for all schools that you have attended and there is no way of hide that you have credits/courses from a 4 year university.
There is a Clearing house for these records so you need to report them.
You transferred to the CCC, and were placed into the higher math class because of those original credits. Chances are that they even appear on your CCC transcript as transferred in.
There isn’t a way to avoid sending your old bad transcript. You are obligated to send it.
No. You will report and send the the grades of every class you’ve ever taken at any college to the UC.
Agree with all above. And trust me, taking Calc 1 and 2 after multivariable will be a MAJOR red flag to admissions. They will demand to know how you got into those higher courses. Plus, all they have to do is run your name through the national student clearinghouse that will show every school you attended.
