<p>On the work section of the commonapp, they ask for the job, the date you started and ended, and the amount of hours worked.</p>

<p>Two months ago, school and all my ECs got so overwhelming that I had to stop working.</p>

<p>Will this make me look bad? To have a job in the summertime, and only a few months during school? Will they just assume that I got fired? Will this make me look like a quitter / lazy?</p>

<p>No, don't worry. You are overanalyzing everything. College admission process is overwhelming and so is senior year.
Most college realize that sometimes student over commit and it's always smart to learn how to balance your schedule. Its' best to quit your job then get lots of C's and D's.</p>
