I want to apply to MIT.

I am in the top 3% of my school, getting excellent grades. Today, when I tried to apply for MIT, I realized that I needed 2 SATIIs (Math and Science). I took Math level 2 and got a 700 and a US History SATII but NO science SAT II. I really want to go to MIT, but am I completely screwed? :\ I don't have any SCIENCE SAT II. Ugh, I could have took Bio or Chem! :[ What do I do, should I apply anyway??? Help!

From website: Jan. 2010 • Last month for Regular Action applicants to take required standardized tests. If you take the January test, you must list MIT as a school to receive your scores.

you can still take them. you already have SAT I right?

Thank you, and I heard about “walk-in” where one can walk in the day of the SATII test and just take the test, and pay later when they get the scores. Can I do that? :O

yes, you can do that. but what if everyone shows up?

Well I’ve heard that the test centers have extra tests just in case, so you should be fine. You’ll need to pick up a Standby Registration Form from your school’s office though.

My understanding for stand-bys (your walk-in) is that you need to pay when you show up at the test center and get admitted, not later. In other words get the stand-by registration form and prepare it and go to test with both form and a check to make payment.
