So I am in AP Physics C right now and I have not taken regular Physics ever…

On top of that I have 4 other AP’s (Calc BC, Chem, Bio, Micro/Macro Econ) and a Statistics self study. My AP physics class is only covering mechanics, and I really want to get a 5 on this test. My other AP’s are fine, but Physics is giving me so much stress right now. I have done horrible in the past few tests and I really want to get my grade up to around a B or C by the end of the semester (it is senior year, so my grade does not matter much). We use the Physics for Scientists & Engineers 2008 edition, and I got the PR 2010 Physics C book (which is a little easy in my opinion). So has anyone taken this course and got an A in it? If so, what did you do? Can someone give me some kind of strategy or something?

Quick note, your senior year grades matter, so don’t F up. Lol.

A kid at my school (who the administration will surely use ETERNALLY as an example for the rest of us) got accepted into Harvard. Well, that is, PENDING his final transcript. He had already gotten in, so he figured his grades didn’t matter, and he calculated that he could skip several of his finals and still pass the classes… Well he came out with 2 B’s and a C, and when Harvard found out they revoked their acceptance.

He is now at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Heard of it? I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t. I’m just saying, if you apply this semester and have very good grades, there’s a chance any colleges you get accepted to will look at your transcript after accepting you, be dissatisfied and deny you.
