<p>Hello, </p>
<p>My name is Jack and I just finished my freshman year at a state college. And my life is miserable. I use to have amazing grades in my early days of high school but an illness put me down the hole. I was put on the 504 plan my junior and senior year and I was so sick that I was barely able to graduate. The state college that I am attending was the only one that offered me admission. </p>
<p>I graduated HS with a 4.03 weighted and top 40% rank from a competitive publicc high school. I had a 1250 SAT and 800 SAT IIs. </p>
<p>I fully recovered from my illness the summer leading up to college and I was finally able to achieve at a high level. </p>
<p>I have a 4.0 from a ~80 state college. I entered the college with 30ish credit hours from APs and etc.</p>
<p>Here are the classes I took.
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Applied Calc, Financial Mangement </p>
<p>Statistics, Introduction to Entreprenuership, English Composition, Investments and Portfolio Management</p>
<p>I play rugby at the college </p>
<p>Passed the NASD series 7, 63 and 65 exam. </p>
<p>Interned part-time at a hedge fund during my freshman year; mostly doing grunt work on my own time. </p>
<p>Assistant Marketing director for a local clothing apparel company; my favorite job, free stuff. </p>
<p>This summer, I am got a position as a summer analyst at a i-bank. </p>
<p>And honestly, I do not enjoy my time here. I hate every minute of my school; from the school colors to the annoying people. I want to transfer out of there my sophmore year as a junior somewhere. I have a smilar course load next year and will likely continue doing everything. </p>
<p>My major is Econ/Finance Mangement. </p>
<p>So the schools that I am looking at are, in no order of perference</p>

<li><p>NYU-Stern </p></li>
<li><p>Babson College</p></li>
<li><p>UNC-CH (Out of State)</p></li>
<li><p>Columbia </p></li>

<li><p>UT-Austin </p></li>
<li><p>ANYWHERE other than the current school that I am attending. </p></li>
</ol>
<p>Any suggestions/ comments would be awesome and I really would like to go to Michigan/Penn if it is at all possible, and I would also like to know what I can do next year to improve my chances at the school that I listed. </p>
