I got accepted to Penn State Upark, Ohio State Columbus and UConn Storrs.
First of all i dont know where to go, where do you suggest?
Second of all, i am pretty sure that i want to transfer to somewhere further south, probably North Carolina.
I know that Duke is really good school, and so my questions are:
Would it be easier to transfer to Duke from any of the schools i got accepted to?
Would transferring credits be a problem?
How soon can i transfer once i start college?
And the reason why i want to do this is because i am very indecisive and i decided that i am tired of living in the Northeast (PA).
And i dont really know what i want and what i want to do, all i know is that im going to pursue an accounting degree.
I am so confused right now, but can you guys give me some insight on the schools in North Carolina that would make transferring easy.
Would you recommend UNC?

If I would have to choose since I’m a Business Admin major then it would be Penn State.

North Carolina has two really good universities which are Duke and UNC Chapel Hill. It wouldn’t hurt to be at one of those schools but it surely won’t be easy to transfer to Duke or UNC. Last time I checked Duke transferring, it had a minimum of 17 units required for transfers (that would be how much you need to transfer). Transferring to Duke is much harder than transferring to UNC.

UNC accepts both standing of Sophomore (30 units) and Junior (60 units). But since residency plays a vital role in transferring to a public school such as UNC. It will still be difficult. There are no easy ways to transfer to those schools especially Duke which is highly selective.

I’d recommend. All the schools you listed above are solid schools and if you do well (3.5-3.75+), you could get into UNC as a transfer. But just don’t forget that you need more than grades, get involved on campus and off of campus (internships), to get into top schools. What do you want to major in? If Business, I’d recommend Penn State. If you want to go to North Carolina, also look into WakeForest and Elon too.
