I was deferred at Stanford EA, do you think I have a chance?

So I have wanted to go to Stanford pretty much since I was like 6. :] I applied early action, and was deferred. I'm taking the SAT again in a month so I can send Stanford a (hopefully) improved score.

Gender: Female
Ethnicity: White haha
Location: Montana!

GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.167 weighted

SAT: Reading: 730; Math: 650; Writing: 660 (2040)

Rank: 13 out of 450ish

AP Scores: Biology-5, US History-5, currently taking Government, Comparative Gov, Psychology, English, and Calculus.

Classes: All APs, as well as an advanced photography class and a journalism class.

Extracurricular: Editor-in-Chief of the school paper (3 yrs), NHS (2 yrs), Literary magazine photography editor (2 yrs), District Superintendent Advisory Council (1 yr)

Work: Movie theater (2 yrs, 25 hrs/week), House cleaning company (3 mos, 30 hrs/week)

Volunteering: Library volunteer (2 yrs, 2 hrs/week), Teacher's Aid (2 yrs, 5 hrs/week)

Also, I have legacy because my dad went to Stanford back in the day.

Sooooo...have I a chance? :]

IMHO you'll need at least a 2200 SAT to have a chance (superscored).

The problem is a lack of volunteer efforts that show focus, and the low SAT score (relatively low for Stanford, that is).

Good luck to you.

you have a chance. I say qualify for AIME. Send that in to them. You have better chance :D

Oops, I forgot to list my SAT IIs:
Math II: 720
US History: 790
Biology: 740
:]

Hahaha also I forgot my ACT: 31

And my essays and teacher/counselor recs were pretty strong.
