<p>Hey everyone! I am a 2011 Gates Millennium Scholar who has a part-time job in addition to being a full-time college student. I was always told by my school's financial aid office that students with the GMS could have a job but were only allowed to earn under $6,000 dollars a year in reference to the FAFSA. Well, I received my W-2 recently and found out that I unfortunately earned more than $6,000, even when I thought I was keeping close attention to my earnings. Has anyone else encountered this problem? What will happen to my scholarship? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!</p>

Your EFC may change requiring you to put a LITTLE money toward your schooling, but don’t sweat it.</p>
