I will not get into Harvard. Feel free to face the reality now boys and girls.

a lot of people don't get into harvard; the world doesn't stop just beacuse you didn't. go out and have fun

yeah, thousands of people who apply will not get into harvard. and a few billion (and then some) people in the world who don't even apply to harvard will not get into harvard.
there is still hope for all of us!!! good luck :)

no... life ends if you get rejected, didn't you read the fine print?

Good luck to all the regular decision applicants!

I know the world doesn't end if I get rejected by Harvard... I'm almost scared of getting in because I don't think I could say no, even though I doubt it's the best fit/top choice for me.

you are doubting?

Me neither!!!!

Woohoo.

BC is just fine with me.

Alright...I'll set myself up for the stupidest question of the year award. If they're done deliberating on the 22nd, do they wait to let us know simply because of tradition, a legit reason, or because they are somewhat evil? lol Just wondering---esp. since an update for me was sent just a tad bit late to be considered I believe. Oh well....tough luck. Best of luck to all of you.

ncaliguy06, Ivy League rules.

Oh right....they agree on everything. Hurray for consistency (NOT)...well I guess it makes sense. Except for their whole early write/likely letter stuff. But whatever. Thanks Sonar.

Well.. I don't think they agreed on the 22nd...
I got an e-mail asking for my SAT scores (they somehow didn't get my official ones, so I had to tell my counselor). Anyways, they did this on the 23rd... so.. they couldn't have finished the 22nd unless they were pulling my leg :( Hope they weren't!

anyone ever heard of a person with a 1600/2400, 3x800 SATII's, and 5's on all AP Exams being rejected?

jason, there have been some on this board in past years. Some w/ Val + all of that too.

yes. the guy actually had 5X800 and 12 AP and was a valedictorian in his class in the United World Colleges. brilliant guy and a great person.
he got rejected from all the top US schools that he applied to and is currently attending Oxford.

i'm not getting in, either! cheers!

but whatever. i'm sure we'll all find colleges we love even without that harvard acceptance letter. =)

Don't think I'll get in either!
Or... I get in but can't attend, because I died the day before, due to anxiety about the decision

I'll join the pre-rejection club.

THE IVY LEAGUE IS AN OLIGOPOLY! Hehe, sorry... we learned about that in econ a loooooooooooong time ago.

Don't lose hope!
