I wish...

...Caltech had an admissions web-site similar to that of MIT's... with different people's blogs

:)

Blasphemy!

Just goes to show you that compared to Caltech students, MIT students have too much time on their hands.

Too much time? Nah.. It takes what, 20 minutes max to add a new blog entry? Hundreds of prospective students read the blogs to get a good sense of what the school is like. I don't think that is a wasted 20 minutes.

It IS true, IMO, that MIT students have more time than Caltech students, but I'm sure you could at least find a few Caltech students willing to write a small blog post once a week. Of course, I'm just a high school student, so I could be wrong. But if no one has 20 minutes once a week to help inform prospective students about their school, then maybe my impression of Caltech was wrong.

It wouldn't even have to be fancy - quite a few schools have them. Check out the Illinois Institute of Technology admissions blogs too.

I really do think that it would be a very nice addition to Caltech's site, and very useful. The Caltech website makes it seem like a very static, 'dead' school. While I know this isn't really the case, some blogs might liven it up a bit..

I'm willing to do it

......

IF I can get in. :D

I was kidding.

Meh. I am the most gullible person in the world. For some odd reason, I can't seem to see through posts like that.
