I have worked on three research projects on my own, which were reviewed by several regional college professors of the area and offered me scholarships to do my Master's as they thought I was a graduate student while in reality I was in High School)

Plus I read about 20-30 books per year (all of these different to the subjects mentioned above)

This looks familiar…

your science research background is ridiculous! That by it self might get you in! but your AP scores and SATs are a bit shabby… but your community service is outstanding! It looks like you have great chances.

your AP’s and SAT’s are a little low.

youre app kinda contradicts itself, you have all these math awards, yet you only have a 740 math ii? usually most people get an 800 applying to these schools

What school in El Paso are you from? I’m also living here haha

And I don’t know about chancing, as I don’t feel comfortable doing so, but that is an incredible resume!

Thanks for the advises, I can explain why i got that 740 lol you see I was in intensive math olympiad training at the time so I literally went to take the test without knowing the format of the test and the kind of questions involved. Unfortunately, I was used to the 6 problems in 9 hours free response format that I forgot to do easier multiple choice questions. But I guess I’m retaking the Math Subject Test II on December and the SAT once more in October (to hopefully get at least 700 on each subject)
@CesVar I used to go to Radford School, I just graduated this year, so you could say that I am kind of in a gap year, but I am taking college classes (not for credit though) as well so as to not get behind in knowledge and to keep myself busy somehow.

Not trying to be mean, but your demonstration of the English language in your last post isn’t even college material. This is just an informal forum, and we’re all typing quickly and can make mistakes. However, you really need to brush up on your English.

For starters, “advises” is a verb, as in “A lawyer advises clients.”

“Advice” is a noun, which is never plural.

OMG!!! :frowning: How come I have not noticed that? I really was typing fast, but I cannot recall why would I make a big “grammar” mistake like that. I am strongly aware of the differences between the two words (and I always were), and I can guarantee that I never make mistakes like that in my writings. Also, I think that I will retake the SAT in November, and so far, I have like 690 CR, according to several practice tests.
P.S. I usually never proofread my typing, but since that incident indicates a need of further editing action, I will from now on. Thanks
