oh and Ohio State, never will i ever even look at that school with anything but contempt. GO BLUE

LOL ok I never heard of BoB jones but i took the liberty of searching Wikipedia. OMG BOB Jones would drive me crazy. Its like living in a Halfway house :D. Just instead of living with bad ppl, you live with ahhhh I just cannot even believe all the rules.

Here are a few i thought where halarious:
- Curfew is at 10:25 p.m., and residence hall students must be in their own rooms and quiet at 11 p.m. Lights must be out by midnight.
- U have to sign out of your dormitory when leavign campus: Again sounds like a halfway house.
- student is provided with a filtered e-mail account. Using unfiltered Internet access via computer, mobile phone, or satellite phone is prohibited for residence hall students.
- Students are forbidden to attend movie theaters or, when visiting local homes, to watch any films with a rating higher than a G rating.
- Students may not listen to country, jazz, New Age, rock, rap, or contemporary Christian music.

OK TAKING THIS INTO ACCOUNT, I HAVE COMPOSED TWO THEORIES:
- THEY HAVE THE STUDENTS ON SOMETHING :D... SOUNDS EVIL BUT LOL...
OR
- THEIR PARENTS WERE TIRED OF THEIR KIDS AND SENT THEM OFF TO SOME FANCY LOOKING RELIGOUS BOOT CAMP TO SUFFER.

I FRANKLY DONT KNOW HOW THE STUDENTS HAVE NOT REBELLED AND JUST ALL VIOLATED THE RULES LOL. I CAN IMAGINE MYSELF CRACKING UP SEEING ON CNN THE STUDENTS REBELLING LOL...

BJU wont officially mention these "rules" till August when u attend their mandatory orientation program. they say that the "student handbook rules" must be complied with though at all times. Funny, how someone arrives there clueless and experiences a big shocker. lol.

That's part of the reason I really hate schools like BJU. They have all these strict rules, but they don't tell students about them until after they enroll. I have no problem with strict religious schools, but it's not right to not warn prospective students about these rules. Prospective students should know these strict rules before choosing to go so that they may make an informed decision

Yup well in that case, your eft with no other option. Transfer. Although after reading certain student reviews (not that im interested but just curious about this schools harsh policy) you cant really transfer either cuz their school is so unrecognized by oher schools that they dont take ur credits. which pretty much forces you to stay there for the rest of your 4 years. LOL ouch! thats gotta suck.

BJU gets my vote.

Texas A&M shudder

i would never go anywhere north of Washington D.C. because i hate the cold. the northern most school i applied to was James Madison.

Northern Illinois University
Southern Illinois @ Carbondale

basically any IL "directional" school

Texas A&M? Come on now, there's way worse schools to go to than that one.

Any school in which you can somehow manage to graduate with honors and go out 6 nights a week.... you might as well use your diploma to roll cigarettes.
