<p>So I published a novel when I was younger, and I want to stress this on my app. But it doesn't really fit under activities, since it was one event. And it's not really an honor or award. So where should it go?</p>
<p>Usually most applications have space where you can add additional information you’d like the college to know. I think it could definitely fit under honor/award if you got it published by an outside source (because it had to be accepted and what not), otherwise just try to make it fit under activities.</p>
<p>I don’t see any space for additional info on the CommonApp. It even says you can only attach a resume if the specific college requires it.</p>
<p>Put it under academics or this is a space that asks for any important other info</p>
<p>I believe a couple years ago I attached a document with the stuff that did not fit the other areas yet that I felt were too important to exclude. There’s a place on the CommonApp where you can do that.</p>
<p>Go to the Common App. Go to the Writing Section. Go to the Additional Information section. Write it there.</p>
