I20 problem

I jus got my I20 form from USC today but it does not include my middle name. I hold a Canadian passport and theres only a GIVEN NAMES section where you put all your names other than the SURNAME. However, I use my middle name in all of the testing I did and it's also on my high school diploma. I was wondering if missing the middle name would be a problem for the F1 visa?

My full name: MAGGIE YANG CHEN
On my passport:
Surname: Chen
Given Names: Maggie Yang

Thank you

I noticed this in the similar threads list. I hope this helps.

Hmm, has everyone else received their I-20? I’m getting a little worried that mine might be late.

I haven’t received mine yet. I emailed USC and they told me they were still processing them. It takes them about 3 months after you got accepted to do so, could be 4. So we should be getting it in the next month.

Hey, so I’m sorry to revive this, but are we supposed to make a formal request to receive the I-20 form? The rest of the schools I was accepted to sent the form in with my acceptance, but I haven’t received it from USC.

I realize that there is a request form I can print online, but the details requirements seem to imply that it is for people who have already received an I-20 form and require a new one.

yeah same question with twaih7
do we need to do something for I-20? or does USC send to us?

Come on, anyone? =/

^bump! im worried about my I-20 forms too…

Do we get that form directly from USC or do we get that in local embassy…? Haven’t received mine too… =,=

All the forms are here: [OIS Forms](http://sait.usc.edu/ois/forms.aspx)
Just navigate around this page: [Student Visa Application Process](http://sait.usc.edu/ois/intl-students/new-student/visa-app.aspx)

All information should be there… So much to do! :O

I did look through the forms but as I’d mentioned earlier, the little details on the I-20 request form implied that it was for people who needed a NEW I-20 form. It seems the implications are indeed true:

Dear xxxxxxx,

Thank you for your message.

Please be advised that we will begin processing undergraduate I-20’s in May, 2011 to those students who have submitted their enrollment deposits. If you have not received an I-20 within the third week of May, please contact this email address.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Regards,
USC Office of Graduate & International Admissions I-20 Processing

Oh! So we don’t need to do anything right now?
Rather confused now D:
What about those who already have a Tourist Visa? Is it the same form?

Hey sorry, I’m unable to answer your last 2 questions =/ Try this site for some info: [US Student Visa | F1 Student Visa](<a href=“Retrouvez l'informations en quelques lignes sur USV”>http://www.usastudentvisa.org/)

I suppose all we can do now is wait till they send us our I-20 forms (: Will post here if I find out anything else of importance.
