Ok. I just went into my status check and checked my submitted application.
ANd..
ON PAGE 6@@@

By my signature, I certify that all the answers I have given on this application are complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge, and that the
essays represent my own work. I understand that falsification or omission of information or credentials may result in the revocation of admission.
signature date

It appeared as blank . I didnt even notice this box when I was doiing the app... and plus it is online application so how were you supposed to sign this?
O M g..... am I not a ER applicant anymore? Please!!

Thats odd, but I assume everything must be okay in order for your application to past as being submitted. Did you ever get a personal email from University of Michigan indicating they have recieved your application?

^^ and no, I think they’d still let me submit it because if I don’t sign it , it just means that I dont certify the answers…I decided to apply for ER by people on CCs advice and I stayed up four nights to meet the deadline and I am Sad!

^ how am I fine ??? wat can I do?? I suck so I Need to be considered for ER or my slim chance will turn to Zero .I m ust have been blind not to see that box
i thought ER was the only way to show them that they are my first choice!!!
woohooowayto go mylife ~~~~ :D

You seem to be really stressed out about your app, and I’m a nice guy, so I logged onto Embark to check my app. I didn’t have a signature down there either and I ended up being just fine.

Well if you got a email from the university stating they have received your application then everything should be okay as meeting the priority deadline.

^^ awwww thanks hahaha so you left it blank??? as a blank blank ?
^ ya they got everything . not signing doesn’t mean that app is incomplete it just means that I dont certify the info i’ve given THem TTTTTTTTTTTTTT_T
should I email them or call them just in case? or am I really fine ?really ?

It was completely blank. Feel free to call them if you want to seem really dense. U of M does NOT expect everyone to have a touch screen monitor to sign their online applications :)

^^
Well if you purposely didn’t sign your application given the opportunity then that could likely decrease preference to your application because one ( as myself) would not understand why someone would not certify the information ( which happens but likely rare).
Well yeah if you didn’t certify the information then that would be a cause of concern, probably contacting them wouldn’t be a bad ideal.
I will check my application right now to see if my signature shows.

Well with my material typed in black on their paper forum there is no signature but I think if you never typed your signature that would be odd since I remember doing it myself.

^There was no way to sign it. The forum you view is just a PDF similar to the actual hard copy with your online info filled in, so they have the signature spot there, but there’s no way to sign it. I didn’t sign it and look where it got me (accepted).

I agree, calling them is never a bad idea, especially if you’re this worried, but it’s pretty pointless.

Yosup I know there is no way to physically sign it but when I did the online forum it stated to sign signature further explaining to type first and last name which I did. I thought ThomasJefferson was stating they never did that step or just overlooked the process.

Must be great to get accepted. Curious, is University of Michigan your top choice?

Wow. This thread makes me wonder what kind of students are applying to michigan.
Stop being so irrational. They wouldn’t let you submit it without a signature.
