<p>I'm an American student in IB (International Baccalaureate). Its supposed to prepare you for international colleges.</p>
<p>Should I consider colleges in Europe (Britain, etc.)?</p>
<p>(For the record: I need financial aid, was born in non-EU Europe, and am an American citizen only)</p>
<p>IB does not really “prepare” you for international colleges, but what it DOES do is give you the qualifications needed to gain admittance to many international universities (something a simple US high school diploma generally does not). </p>
<p>I would only look at applying to overseas schools if you are really interested in studying at one of them.</p>
