Came across this training + internship program. Anyone have thoughts on this? I may do it during the summer if I have nothing else to do. Definitely a huge price tag, but I'm not sure about the quality of the training + internship. Let me know what you guys think.

Don’t waste your money.

Ib Career Path seems like a promising program. The program is the only of its kind to guarantee an internship upon graduation. The internship will definitely put a leg up over other canditates when looking for a job in the Investment Banking field. Companies know you have experience, and you took classes specifically geared for that position. The curriculum looks sound, and the trainers have checked out to be very affluent in the business.
Conclusion: definitely a plus if you are having trouble finding a job, or if you are looking to start early in preperation for your career.

awful waste of money. It guarantees an ‘internship’ with a firm that nobody on the street has heard of. A quick check shows that they don’t list any of their deals on their own website, and their CEO has no IB experience unless you count his own firm.

I never understood why people would waste money on information that is readily available on the internet. Also finding an internship is not too difficult if you put yourself out there.
