I doubt Brown pays much attention to IB predicted scores, unless it’s the only type of assessment your school gives you. The US is not the UK.

I got in in 2004, so I’m not sure how valuable this is, but I think that my predicted score was 39 (without bonus points), with 4 HL classes. I ended up with a 41 (38+3).

Well I am an international student so it is the only form of grades that are sent in the transcript. Well, for our Year 12 grades (Grade 11) we send our end of year attainment grades for IB exams and for our Year 13 grades (Grade 12) we send the grades that the teachers predict we will attain at the end of the diploma.

Right now my grades are a little bit messed up:
Physics HL - 7
Maths HL - 6
Economics HL - 7
Philosophy SL - 6 (could go up to a 7)
English SL - 6 (could go up to a 7)
Spanish Ab Initio SL - 7

I am asking because I emailed the admissions office and they replied saying that they look favourably at any score above 39 out of 42 with at least two 7’s for Higher Level. This scared the daylights out of me because if my predicted drops by even 1, I could be at 38.

I was an international student too, but at a school that gave letter grades in addition to predictions, so my experience is obviously going to be different.

I wouldn’t worry too much - you look like you’re doing well. Just focus on improving wherever you can, and apply.

i wouldnt worry about it. I got in with a 4 on CS SL last year lol. Just got raped by Math HL, but still hoping for that 7! I don’t think predictions are as important as what you actually get on your exams. I’m afraid my acceptance is conditional if I dont get the IB diploma, but idk for sure.
