IB Language Question

I'm going to be an IB student next year. In our school it is required to take either French or Spanish for the span of 2 years in order to recieve the IB Diploma. I already am fluent or proficient in 4 languages (English, German, Chinese, and Japanese). Is it possible under circumstances like these to take a different class in place of another language and still be granted a diploma. I have no interest in either of these two languages and there are many other great classes I'd rather spend my time in.

Not that I know of, no. Unless you go to another school offering German, Chinese or Japanese.

Take spanish, it’s the most practical and easier, at least the tests are in my opinion. Or who cares about the diploma?

Have you talked to your school administration? I know that at my school you can do a self-taught language as long as you find a tutor. Also, if you do that you can take one A1 and one A2 language and obtain a bilingual diploma.
