Hi there I am an IB student applying to University of Oregon my overall Cumulative GPA is around 3.0-3.1 and weighted is 4.0 however I was wondering if University of Oregon will consider the rigor of my coursework and if I will be accepted? My SAT score has not yet been sent to me as I just took it in the first week of October I was just wondering what UO will think about my GPA. Also does it make a difference if I visit the campus? Also I am out of state located in California
I’m currently an ib student at Oregon’s top ranked high school. I know for a fact that U of O loves ib students. Most of the ib students from my school with similar gpa’s to you end up getting scholarships, as well as acceptance into the honors college. I don’t think it will help your acceptance just for visiting, but if possible you should visit just to get a feel for it. U of O accepts lots of California students, I think you have a pretty good shot!
