Ib

Hi!

Ok, so I am curious whether I can get credit for IB courses? Is it only for Higher Level subjects and what score would I have to get?
I know that Duke gives credits for AP but since I took full IB diploma... I was just wondering...

Thanks in advance!

Duke will grant credit for scores of 6 or 7 on higher level IB courses. Different departments at Duke treat the credits differently (i.e. to count towards particular majors or minors), but they are often considered for placement into higher level classes or as elective credits (up to two) counting towards the thirty-four required to graduate. In addition, some students intending to graduate early may be allowed to contribute some of the pre-college coursework credits to the required total.
