I'd really appreciate it if you guys could chance me for Princeton SCEA!

My academics are pretty strong, but my primary concern is with ECs. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

I'm having difficulty with essays, but they should turn out okay. I expect my teacher recs to be pretty strong, but since my school is so large my counselor evaluation might be weaker.
Not sure if it's relevant, but I'm also an Asian American girl from Texas.

Honest opinion?
Thanks again ^_^

Overall great advice for HYP applicants

There’s really no point in asking to be chanced. You’ll have the your official answer in six and half weeks regardless of what we speculate your chances are. Just try to relax and keep yourself busy until then. Good luck!

Your GPA and test scores are good (those 790s lol). Your senior schedule seems like… painful  I opted to just take 2 APs instead and then go home at 11 - but if you can keep up your grades, it’ll definitely be a plus.

Your ECs and awards are somewhat “weak” - I’m not sure whether you have any leadership positions - but the piano EC is definitely good (you’re submitting an arts supplement, right?). And it would be great to have a few more unique awards (other than NMSQP and AP, which are quite common) - maybe put the piano ones there?

I would say, probably a reach, but as mentioned before, this means nothing and just relax (though it’d be kinda hard with all those APs lol)

You’re clearly a qualified applicant. Acceptance or deferral are both realistic outcomes. I’m sure you won’t be outright rejected in the early round. All you can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Good luck!
