Ideas for Senior Year Course Load

So I am currently picking out courses to take for senior year. Throughout my time in high school I’ve always been a math and science kind of guy and know that I want to do pre-med and major in economics in college, so I’ve been wondering what I should do. So here’s what I have:

AP English Lit

(my biggest dilemma) AP Calc AB or AP Calc BC. Everyone in Calc BC says that its awful in hard, and these were people who got A+'s in Precalc last year. I am definitely a math person, so maybe I should take AP Calc BC, but I also want to do well, and I will get more calculus in college too? If I applied as a prospective economicsmajor /premed track concentrator, would taking AB Calc be shown as soft.

AP Biology or AP Physics. I’ve heard that AP Bio is more helpful for premeds.

AP Microeconomics (online)

and

AP Spanish Literature

Does this sound like an okay load? My goals are UChicago and Wash U so I really want to make sure that my coursework will prepare me enough to be a strong candidate in both pools.

I would take AP Calc AB. No need to skip ahead…also, if you are going to be pre-med, you will have to take Calc in College. You want to be taking Calc1 (or possibly 2) in college so as to keep your GPA as good as possible for med school. Taking AP Calc AB is not soft.

I also would recommend AP Biology for pre-med. You will be taking both in college, but I think having AP Bio will be more to your advantage.
